fast relief, long term results

Our approach is holistic. We address the symptoms first, but we treat the whole person. The holistic philosophy means we recognize and understand the extraordinary interconnectedness of the parts of the body along with the pillars of health: physical, mental and emotional.

The location of pain may not be the source of pain. We prioritize finding the root cause of discomfort, not masking it, and restoring your body’s natural ability to heal.

Holistic medicine can employ a variety of therapies, tailored to the uniqueness of each person.

We do joint chiropractic, family chiropractic and total health chiropractic.

Our Techniques

  • Chiropractic is healthcare center on the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Chiropractors are licensed healthcare professionals with great expertise in understanding the musculoskeletal system, which includes your bones, joints, muscles and nerves. Increasingly, it includes a focus on the fascia, an increasingly important focus for holistic practitioners.

Fascia is a connective tissue that surrounds and supports every organ, nerve fiber, blood vessel, bone, and muscle in the body. It also provides a smooth surface for muscles, joints, and organs to slide against each other without friction or tears. Fascia has many functions, including attaching, stabilizing, strengthening, separating muscles, and enclosing organs.

  • Massage therapy is the practice of manipulating the body’s soft tissues-muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia for a therapeutic result. Massage involves kneading, stroking and applying different pressures to the soft tissues. It can often bring relief from pain and reduce aches and stiffness. It can also reduce stress levels, promoting mental and emotional well-being while reducing blood pressure and increasing blood flow in support of the body’s natural healing processes.

A variety of techniques of massage therapy are practiced today including:

    Swedish

    Deep-tissue

    Sports

    Trigger point

    Prenatal

Massage may be a standalone treatment or a complementary therapy to address both physical and emotional health concerns.

  • Vitamins are crucial to supporting the body’s function. The right tools can help the skin, muscles, joints, digestive system and more heal from the inside out.

People have been using traditional herbs to heal and protect for thousands of years.

  • Acupressure is a practice inspired by acupuncture. Rather than needles, an acupressure practitioner uses his fingers, hannds and elbows to ecert pressure on strategic points of your body to reduce pain and treat symptoms elsewhere.

  • Myofascial release is a hand-on therapy that focuses on the fascia, the thin but strong web of tissue that envelops the muscles, tendons, ligaments and organs throughout the body.

Inflammation or injury or poor posture can cause fascia to tighten, become restrictive causing pain and limited mobility. The fascia itself contains many nerves and can induce pain itself.

A therapist locates trigger points within the fascia and applies sustained gentle pressure to these areas to relax and elongate the fascia. This pressure reduces pain, releases restrictions, improving range of motion. It can also address fibromyalgia, headaches, reduce stress and promote relaxation.

While the idea of fascia is not new, the therapies addressing fascia are very new, showing excellent results and great promise for relieving chronic pain, inflammation and restricted mobility. Myofascial release is often used as a complementary therapy to physical therapy and chiropractic.

Recent research has confirmed that fascia is dense with many types of different nerve endings which suggests that it plays a crucial role in how we experience pain.

  • Skin is the largest organ of the human body. Its three layers vary in function.

Facials can be good therapy for physical and mental well-being. The process of a facial with soothing massage, calming scents and relaxed environment promote a sense of physical and mental well-being. It can boost your mood, promote peacefulness and reduce feelings of anxiety or depression.

Improved skin health can increase confidence and promote a positive body image, both of which are crucial to mental well-being. Facial massages can release tension in the face, neck and shoulders reducing headaches and muscle pain. They can also increase blood flow providing a healthy and radiant complexion.

Opt for facials that focus on relaxation and skin health and not just the cosmetic benefits. Facials can be employed as part of a balanced self-care regime coupled with health habits and other therapies.

  • Dr. Ron has changed my life; I feel better than I have in six years. In just a few short weeks my lower back pain, sciatic nerve pain, shoulder & neck pain are gone. I highly recommend Dr. Ron he is by far the best chiropractor in the valley if not the entire western slope. I now wake up pain free, sleep well through the night and have a smile on my face throughout the day. I'm forever grateful for his healing treatments.

  • I’ve had back problems for some years now and couldn’t really figure out what was wrong. I’ve been through physical therapy and much more and nothing seemed to work. This last time I hurt my back I was to the point of making yet another doctor appointment with my PCP until a friend of mine recommended Dr. Ron. I went in for my first appointment and I must say I’ve never felt better in my life. If anyone is having back issues and haven’t gotten back surgery of any kind please please please go see Dr. Ron he will change your life with just a few adjustments. I can’t thank you enough Dr. Ron.
